This policy complies with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). By using our service, you agree to the processing of your information as described here.
Information We Collect
Account Information (Google OAuth)
When you sign in with Google, we receive your public profile information:
Your password is never stored by Beyondr. Authentication is handled by Supabase (Google OAuth integration).
Conversation Data
When you use AI Counsel, we store:
Crisis Detection Scanning
For your safety, AI chat messages are automatically scanned for keywords that may indicate self-harm or a mental health crisis. This is an automated system — it does not involve a human reading your conversations in real time. When crisis signals are detected, we provide links to crisis support resources.

We use PostHog to analyze usage patterns to improve the service:
AI Conversation Data
The AI Counsel feature uses Anthropic's Claude API. Messages you send are transmitted to Anthropic servers to generate AI responses.

Semantic Search (Voyage AI):
The scripture search feature uses Voyage AI's embedding models. Search queries are sent to Voyage AI servers for semantic-based search.
We recommend not including sensitive personal information or details that could identify others in AI conversations.
Data Storage
Supabase (primary database)
Account information, conversation history, and preferences are stored encrypted in Supabase (AWS infrastructure in the US).
Browser local storage
Some preferences are stored on your device:

Cookies
We use cookies for Supabase authentication session management. These cookies are required to keep you logged in.

Data Retention
Upon account deletion request, we delete all related data within 30 days.
Children Under 14
Beyondr is not intended for children under 14. If we become aware that a child under 14 has used the service, we will immediately delete that account.
Policy Changes
If we change this policy, we will notify you by email or in-service notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. For significant changes, we may ask for your consent again.
